You don't have to wait for the 1st January 2017 to make a fresh start.

You don't have to wait for the 1st January 2017 to make a fresh start. That sentence is good I wanted to share it twice.

We haven't made an academic year diary before so we were quite nervous to offer it this year. It's proven to be another great example of the benefits of trying new things though - because we've learnt even more about our customers and community in doing it. We have had several orders which are specifically from parents wanting to gift their children something special to document their progress in. But we've also had just as many orders from people who are not studying - they simply want to have a fresh start and don't want to wait until next January to do it. What a great idea this is - we're really taken with it! We love the idea of someone literally starting afresh. Having a 'do over'.

We have just one A5, day to view, 2016 diary in the Studio. And I want to use it - to write meeting notes in the front section, and use the months of August - December. Richard says I must leave it, in case someone wants to buy it, which makes even more sense given the people wanting to buy the academic year diaries as mentioned above!!

This idea of starting afresh is something I'm going to give more thought to - why do we have to wait for Christmas to wear our Little Black Dress?? Why do we need to wait for the summer to have a BBQ? We can do anything we want to, whenever we want, if that's what we choose to do. What would you like to have a fresh start with? Tell us in the comments below....

I always feel like I am waiting for the next marker to make a fresh start, a new term, a new week, a new school year…when really there’s no need to wait!

I always get a new planner from September – makes it much easier to plan. Besides who wants it to run out during the stress of the Christmas period.

There’s nothing better than a new notebook or planner at any time of the year.

I love writing on that first page especially – does that make me sound like a bit of a geek ;-)

I’ve not had a January start diary for years. One of the things I love about Bullet Journaling is starting whenever I need to (either when the previous journal is full, or when I need a fresh start), rather than waiting for the 1st of January x
